Colossians 3:14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

The power of a local assembly is the love of God being demonstrated to one another. Love is more action oriented, love can be expressed, seen and feel. You cannot love someone without showing it in your actions. While you may not be in close relationship with everyone, your love for others can be felt. This will be seen in how you pray for them, what you say about them, how you care about them etc.

You cannot love someone and not show them mercy. Giving is also part of the attributes of love, while you can give without love, you cannot love and hold back. For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten. Think about that. God gave His only begotten because of His love for us.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Imagine us being saved and raised to highest realm of existence, and it is because of His love. The same way you can help someone get up in life to the same realm of opportunities that you have in life. Show love to someone today who may never be able to pay you back in the real sense of it. Remember, you have God's nature in you to give your only to rescue others.
