John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The primary purpose of Jesus coming to the earth was for the redemption of mankind. If this is the reason, then it must not be lost in the midst celebrating the birth of Christ Jesus. While many have reduced this to a time of sharing love with all men, we must make sure that the real love we are sharing among men is Christ Jesus.

The reason is, anything we give to men will eventually perish except they receive Christ who is Savior of the world. The purpose of His coming is to save men from their sins and deliver them from the power of darkness. These truth must be spread among men and unto all men, that Jesus is the reason for the season and the ultimate goal is the salvation of men.

John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

The reason He came is not for condemnation, but for the revelation of God's love and blessings to mankind. So spread His love and the message of His grace unto all men. If you have not received Him, this an opportunity to accept and receive God's love into your heart. He came to destroy the works darkness and to destroy the power of sin in your life. In Him we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins.

I John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
