2 Chronicles 20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise...

One of the strongest weapon that we have as believers is praise, it is one of our advantage as God's children. Those who understand the power of praise enjoy ceaseless victory in their lives.

The word Judah actually mean praise, and the enemy came against them, you know what, they all perished at the sound of praise. They didn't have to fight or engage them in anyway, praise caused among them unresolved confusion and they helped kill one another.

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today we are a nation of priests, our work now is to bring unto our God the sacrifice of thanksgiving always. Paul and Silas were in trouble, held down in prison and they pray and sang so much that the prisoner heard them. The prison door opened and bars of iron dropped on their own, the ground shook, that is what praise does.

People praise God when they see result, but those who live by faith praise Him for what is yet to be seen with their natural eyes. But it is not just any kind of song, they sing about His mercies that endured forever. Today worship and praise Him,  declare His goodness concerning the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
