2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Spiritual things are slippery, so you must make sure that things you are hearing are maximize. You need to constantly work out your salvation with fear and trembling knowing that many are called but few eventually get to the finished lines. So keep your eyes on the goal and run.

I Corinthians 1:26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.

There are many people who at a time were zealous about the things of God, but dropped as time progresses. You need to know that the first are becoming the last and the last becoming the first, so keep running. People drop in their zeal because of many things, but you must make sure that nothing affects your walk and work with and for the LORD.

There will be many reasons for you to draw back, if you look at the issues, you will draw back, but keep your eyes and focus on the LORD. Under that we are not of them that draw back, we are of the few that make it and produce hundred percent. Don't allow the cares of this world, don't take Satan's bait of bitterness etc. Keep your eyes on the One who saved you and called you.
