Proverbs 12:4 An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, But she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.

The church of Jesus Christ is His bride, it is through us that His influence is spread on earth. The word translated wife here is the Hebrew word chayil: it is better translated worriors, champions, and mighty one. It also mean an army that is wealthy, strong, mighty, powerful with substance, valiant, virtuous, or worthy.

Now think about the above, that's definition of who you are as the bride of Christ. You are strong, not weak, powerful and blessed. Imagine this Christ's bride messing around, selling her body for money, being involved in scams, the only thing that will be responsible for this kind of behavior would be what James describe as forgetfulness.

James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

You see, many people forget what is seen in the mirror of the word about them. Are you representing Christ as His bride? Would you say that your life is a reflection of your true status? Remember this that you are strong, valiant, powerful and never forget this that you are Christ bride and He is coming for you.
