Genesis 4:6 So the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

It was the guilt of sin that made Adam and Eve hide themselves among the trees using leaves that is subject to withered away as a covering. The same way, people are trying everything possible to hide from the guilt of sin today using things. Sin will always produce guilt, there is nothing on earth that can remove the guilt of sin except you receive God's righteousness through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus.

There is nothing that can be done to hide yourself from the guilt of your sin. It is guilt of sin that made people hide, stop coming to church or tell alot of lies to cover up. Cain buried his brother, trying to hide his sin, but the blood was crying. The blood was crying in Cain's consciousness. He was trying to hide it from God, but his conscience was betraying him before Him (God).

Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.

Job 31:33 If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom...

No matter what you do, without the application of the blood of Christ Jesus, the guilt of sin cannot be remedy. Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He (Christ Jesus) has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. The guilt of sin can only be removed through the righteousness of God.
