Colossians 2:8 (TPT) Beware that no one distracts you or intimidates you in their attempt to lead you away from Christ’s fullness by pretending to be full of wisdom when they’re filled with endless arguments of human logic. For they operate with humanistic and clouded judgments based on the mindset of this world system, and not the anointed truths of the Anointed One.

Many believers have come to believe the lies of the enemy more than the truth of the Gospel. The reality of Christ is superior to everything else that does not follow the truth of the gospel of Christ. The real battle is to stand in the finished work and not to be tracing generational problems. 

Though we walk in the flesh, we don't war after the flesh. Guess what, our real battle is against strongholds of ideologies that are against our rights, privileges and position in Christ Jesus. If you check your set of beliefs carefully, you will see deceptive nature of the enemy. If the scripture says you are free, why do you still think you are not? 

Somewhere along the line, someone has inserted a lie and a deception of the enemy. There are two things when dealing with the enemy, light and understanding your true position as a child of God. This is why Apostle Paul tells us to stand our ground. Someone put it this way: to stand means to resist, to oppose, to hold one’s ground. It is not aggressive pursuit. It is not frantic engagement. It is refusal to yield territory that has already been secured.
