1 Samuel 13:19 Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears: 20 But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock.

The goal of the enemy is to make sure that your authority is weakened. The enemy is aware that when you have your own sword and can handle the same effectively, he's in trouble. So, he make sure that you either have no access to the blacksmith or don't listen well to the one you have. The plot is either to blind you or distract you. 

You must understand that the enemy will never teach you strategy for victory. The world's system will never teach you strategy for a takeover. So you must be spiritual and be ready to dominate through divine instructions, empowerment and obedience. The enemy does not mind to sharpen instruments of labour for you, but not of war. 

Note and understand this, you cannot win with your skills alone, you need your weapon of war. You need wisdom and power. Don't allow the enemy sabotage your understanding of what is needed. Prepare yourself always, dont be carried away by needs and desires. Having done all, stand. 

1 Samuel 13:22 So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.
