Daniel 2:21 And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. 22 He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.

Sometimes God allows national or global problem just to raise His own children in visibility or power. If you look into history, you will see this patterns, so when you see this kind of situation where everyone seems to be affected by a policy or economic challenge, it is an opportunity for you for your lifting. 

In Egypt, there was a national situation, that was how the children of Israel came into position of opportunity and power. The same thing in Babylon, Daniel solved national problem and the Hebrew boys came into power and visibility. You see, rather than complaining, God expect that you will embrace the situation and turn it around to His glory. 

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

You have been empowered by the Lord for all seasons, don't let your heart be troubled at all. The first step is to recognize that there is a way out with the Lord. Secondly, know that you have access to the secret things that belongs to the Lord and He will reveal them to you if you ask Him.
