Colossians 2:7 Your spiritual roots go deeply into his life as you are continually infused with strength, encouraged in every way. For you are established in the faith you have absorbed and enriched by your devotion to him!

Our spiritual depth, stability and accuracy in life is a function of our devotion to God. The strength of your walk with the LORD is premise on your continual fellowship with the LORD through His word, worship, and stewardship. 

Paul says your spiritual roots goes deeply in Him and we receive our nourishment for continuous growth from Him.  This only happens as we behold Him through the word, He causes us to be nourished and mature. We are infused with strength beyond words, abilities that is beyond human comprehension. The truth is, our strength and establishment comes from Him alone.

2 Corinthians 1:21 Now He who established us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God; 22 Who has also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our heart. 

Your life flows from Him and not from your possessions. The life in you is of the Lord, the more you walk with Him in fellowship, the more you experience this life. The beautiful thing is, this life produces light in you and also supply the needed energy for progress in life.
