Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

As a child of God, you must learn to do right, it is not doing right that justifies you, it's the fruit you have to bear. Some folks think that once you are born again, you don't have a part to play again, no, your part is in walking in obedience to divine demands. You have the help of the Holy Spirit as a child of God, you can do all things. 

If you want to get ahead in life, you must learn not to cut corners. Be straight in your manner of conversation. You are in the world but not of the world, your citizenship changed with your salvation. You belong to God now, don't allow Satan take advantage of you again. 

Colossians 3:8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds. 

It is your responsibility to put off the things that does not glorify God. You cannot keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a change. You must speak your confession, but also must act accordingly. You must depend on the Spirit within, declare your true identity in Christ Jesus. Say things like: "I am not a liar, I have the nature of God, I spreak the truth always.
