1 John 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

There are many name we can call God, but the scripture called Him love. It's says, God is love. In John the Gospel, the bible call Him light from the beginning, it is the same reason he says that, if you have hatred towards a brother, you are in darkness, because love is light. 

You will find the same pattern and the same line of thought about love and light or hatred and darkness. This implied that, those who are desirous of light must at the same time walk in love towards all men. It is light that make manifest, darkness cancel things and people. 

1 John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

It is love that win at all time, it provides light and thereby, you are able to see where you are headed in your journey. 1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. The commandment to love is sacrosanct to your faith walk, because, faith walk by love.
