I Thessalonians 5:12 And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,

13 and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.

Most genuine ministers don't like talking about this, but we must be wise. You must learn how to honour all men and especially those who labour among us. We must learn to honor our Pastors, infact, and most time, people who do not understand God's word may consider it as human worship, but it is not, we simply follows the scripture.

God's word says we should esteem them very highly in love for their works sake. Did you see that? Look at this: 1 Timothy 5:17 Let the elders (Pastors) that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially those who labour in the word and doctrine.

1 Samuel 9:7 “But we don’t have anything to offer him,” Saul replied. “Even our food is gone, and we don’t have a thing to give him.” 8 “Well,” the servant said, “I have one small silver piece. We can at least offer it to the man of God and see what happens!”

You cannot love or honour your Pastor with mouth, it must show through your actions. Some people don't give to them, they are at the receiving end only. It does not work in the Kingdom that way, be a blessing to them and their family. Everywhere you see honour, there is love and it is backed with actions.
