Deuteronomy 1:27 And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

God in leading the children of Israel out of the land of bondage, He kept His part of the promises to them. He gave them assurance and all through was performing wonders among them. Unfortunately, their thought pattern affected them and God with all of His power was limited by them to fully fulfilled His promises. 

Psalms 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. 42 They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

This Psalm gave account of God's wonderful works through the wilderness, how He parted the sea and provided for them and defeated their enemies all the way. This shows that, miracles are great, but does not determines faith. They provoke God and the scripture says, they limited the Holy One of Israel. 

You must pay attention to your thought pattern. Sometimes, people come to church but they are never in touch with Him. It is the word of God that influence our thought in the direction of God's possibilities for us. Satan will come with his attacks on your thoughts, respond with God's word outwardly. Don't answer his suggested thoughts with thoughts, but open your mouth and speak out God's word.
