Proverbs 10:5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.

In the book of Exodus, the scripture clear states three festivals has commanded by the LORD: The Feast of Ingathering is first mentioned in the Book of Exodus: "You are to hold a feast for Me three times a year. You are to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread, also to keep the Feast of Harvest with the firstfruits, and the Feast of Ingathering. 

All of these points to our redemption and the ministry of reconciliation. Now that you have been redeemed, it's time to arise for the salvation of others. The feast of unleavened bread is symbolic to the finished work of Christ: His crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection. 

The feast of feast of harvest represents Christ and those of us at His coming. But we believers are to step into the harvest field in preparation for this great gathering. 1 Cor 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at His coming. So don't slack concerning evangelism, be a part of Ingathering with the Lord.
