REJOICE IN THE LORD
Isaiah 55:12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Jesus was speaking about the kingdom of God, He gave us insight into it's operations by saying that righteousness, peace and joy is the kingdom. This make joy a kingdom thing, if beyond earthly or anything that you may have here. Happiness is based on happening, but joy is a product of revelation and spirit within.
He started with righteousness because it is the foundation of our relationship with the divinity. For He made who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Through the sacrifice of Christ we have right standing with God.
Paul wrote to the Romans in chapter five and verse one: Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God. Because we were made God's righteousness through the substitution of Christ, we can now enjoy peace with God. Finally we can now rejoice in the Lord.
Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein, we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
As you leave your house today, rejoice in the Lord, and you will discover that God's peace will shape and affect your decisions. The effect of this will be manifestation of God's plans and purposes in every situations. Halleluyah!
