Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
[5]Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. 

Some people have great wealth and you can see it all around them. Depending on their list, some buy a lot of properties with them, other cars of different luxury. Some people it's cloth or gold, some others spend it on their vanity. God want to be rich and be healthy. 

However, the bible also described God's riches, for example, the castles on a thousand hills belongs to Him. The earth is the Lord's and all its fullness, silver belong to Him as well as gold. I haven't seen where they are called riches. It talks about the riches of His grace and so on. But when it comes purchasing His beloved creation, He dispensed His great riches called mercy. 

God is not only rich in mercy, that is His name. He is so rich in mercy that it is description. When you mentioned some people's name, what comes to mind is wealth. When you mention God, what comes to mind should be mercy not judgement. In fact, the throne He sits on is called the throne of mercy. Is like saying, daddy's chair. Same with God, Mercy's chair. Don't allow Satan bounce you off God, He is so merci-full. So no matter what, go to God in any matter, and receive His mercy.
