1 Corinthians 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

One of the amazing things you should know as a child of God is this simple truth, our hope is beyond this earthly realm. Our hope is not limited to this world of troubles. Imagine many things you could do to get by, but you can't because you know, it's beyond here, there is a hereafter. 

When you have promise from men, it is subject to challenges, things may happen to them and everything will change. But when the Lord make a promise to you, it flows from endless life and unchanging in nature. Every promises of God has been stamped with Amen in Christ Jesus. 

Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil. 

Here is the point, no matter the challenges we are faced with in this world, it is temporal. At the same time, no matter the success we experience, it is also temporal. Our hope is beyond this realm, we have a glorious future ahead of us after this world. We have as better hope in Christ to live victoriously, we also have hope an heavenly home beyond here.
