Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of Him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power. 

There are many things we want done according to what is going on in our lives, but the way of the Lord most time are different. The nation of Israel was under the rule of Roman government at this time of Jesus and His accession, they thought He came to reign physically over Israel at this time. 

However, Jesus responded and told them, this matter will still be sorted out, the time of it is with the Father, don't let it bother you. But in the mean time, there is what you must do to find your own fulfilment in His agenda. The moment they did what Jesus asked them to do, they never ask about the natural kingdom again. 

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 

While they were limited in scope to Israel, God was talking to them about global agenda. This it to let you know that your hunger and thirst are invitation to something bigger. The solution is to tarry in prayers until the Spirit is poured upon you. The amazing outcome will shake you. Your hunger will produce global food industry, your nakedness will produce big enterprise. Just follow and wait on Him.
