2 Kings 6:16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

The scripture says "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and sound mind". The enemy bombard us many times with a lot of thought and things that scares us, but we should never allow fear. We must through the word of God counter every thing that suggests fear. You must know that you have a great advantage in Christ and through Him. 

No matter your potential, with fear, you cannot express or maximize it. Every time the Angel of the Lord visit people, the first word most time is "fear not". The book of Hebrew tells us that fear has torment, so fill your heart with God's promises instead of fear. Someone has described fear as "a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ... 

Deal with everything that suggests fear through the revelation of God's word. The moment the servant of Elisha sensed fear, he started crying, but the prophet told him not to be afraid and pray for revelation. Light from God's word will put your fear into permanent rest.
