Hebrews 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

There are many people carrying pain in their heart today because of what someone did to them or their family in the past. Some weight has led to sicknesses in some people, they think is the devil, no, it is because of unforgiveness. While some people have vowed on their lifetime, never to forgive the offender. What they didn't recognize is that, forgiving the offender is actually their own deliverance.

Bitterness towards anyone will actually cost you more than the person. Bitterness or unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. Sometimes, it is very difficult to forgive those that you have expected not to never hurt you. The reason some have decide to never forgive or choose to retaliate in one way or the other is to seek justice for themselves rather than allowing God no matter what.

Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you".

Listen to me, no matter how difficult it is, it's in your best interest to forgive anyone who offends you either knowingly or unknowingly. If you cherish your relationship with God and it means a lot to you, and  want to grow continuously as a believer in your faith, then you must forgive even when it seems to be the most difficult choice to make.
