Joshua 5:9  And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.

One of the battles that keep people doing the things that they hate is guilt. Some people have even committed suicide because of the pain from their past mistakes. The enemy love to attack your mind with your mistakes or weaknesses. This is the reason the word says "the weak should says I am strong."

The game of the enemy is to reproach you through lack, sickness, poverty, shame etc. When the enemy want to dicapacitate you, he condemn you through your mistakes or something going on in your life. However, God has made provision for you through Christ Jesus, and through Him He has removed your shame and reproaches.

Jesus on the cross was stripped of His clothing by the soldier, He took all of this so that you will not and never be naked or ashamed. All the shame that could ever come upon you, Jesus took it out of the way for you.

Jesus took care of the past, present and future reproaches for you. Adam and Eve became afraid of fellowship with the Father because of shame and reproach as a result of their nakedness. But rejoice, Jesus through His sacrifice has made you free and clothed you with His righteousness. Be free from the reproach and shame today of your past in Jesus name.

The same way the shame, sickness, poverty, reproaches of the children of Israel was rolled away is the same way that Jesus took all your reproaches out in one day.  Jesus did not progressively took your place, He went through the cross once and for all.

Romans 15:8  Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.
