Genesis 17:17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?

Sometimes things seems not to go as plan and after a while you may want to give up. There are times that you have so many questions about His promises for you and time is no longer on your side you think. But the beautiful thing is that all His promises are Yes and Amen in Christ.

There are times we have doubt in  mind, everything seems bleak. Well God is not limited in His ability, if you have faith in Him but have doubt in your head, God will bypass that to give you what He has promised. Abraham believed God that He is able to make happen what He has promised. Though he had doubt in his head, He still went ahead to change his name and that of his wife.

Genesis 18:12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

First it was Abraham that laugh at God's word. He must have discussed the matter with his wife and they both would have laugh at God's word. But they changed their names anyway. Even though Sarah also laugh when God spoke to his husband doubting, God still went ahead to do what He promised.

Genesis 18:14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

Though they both laugh, they had manifestation. No matter what is going on in your life now, what has God said about the matter? If you can find His word concerning the matter, believe me, God will make happen His word in your life. Just keep looking unto Jesus the author and the perfecter of our faith. He will perfect it, don't worry just keep your focus on Him. 1John 3:20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
