Nehemiah 4:17 Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. 18 Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.

Every labourer is also a warrior, they know that beyond just being a worker, that, the real assignment is labour and warfare. Don't just support in building, be a warrior at the same time. Nehemiah had an understanding heart, he knew building without a sense of warfare will make them vulnerable and jeopardize the work.

There is no builder that will not be despised, but don't take it personal, go to God in prayer, remember, it's warfare. Whatever the enemy is saying, make sure that your response is from your kneels. The enemy will speak against your work or accuse someone to you. He will even try to use someone against you so that you can be distracted from the assignment, just stay focused.

Nehemiah 6:3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”

First thing to have in your consciousness is that whatever you are doing in God's house is a great work. Never allow the enemy present what you do as insignificant, your contribution is massive as far as the Kingdom is concerned. Nehemiah's work was mocked at the beginning, the enemies called it useless, but he called it a great work. Let me say this to you also, you are doing a great work, have a sense of mission and fight to remain focused.
