Hebrews 12:1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

For you to experience accelerated elevation this year, make sure you are shedding weight. This is not a year to travel with excess baggage, you must let go of some things. Weight are not necessary sin, they are just things you picked up that are unnecessary for your life and journey of faith.

This is how TPT put it, Hebrews 12:1a As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into.

So the weight here are what life has done to us not sin that we have committed. He clearly states it here, the weight and sin that are easily ensnares us. The word "ensnares" is worth nothing here for a proper understanding. This is talking about arrow that has pierced some causing internal wound or bleeding and is now slowing you down on the journey of faith. Sometimes, it is someone's words, that causes offence within your heart etc.
