Ephesians 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

One of the best gift you can give to your pastor or spiritual parents is to pray for them. Among many things you should pray for, is, that the door of utterance be open unto them. When you intercede for them, you are indirectly praying for yourself. Where this is not happening from you, your reception will be dull. 

Your pastors are men of God and not God of men, know the difference. Apostle Paul recognized this and ask for the prayer of the saints. A pastor friend recently called me and said "I watched the excerpt of your message and had to look for the rest. He then said, the door of utterance was really opened to you concerning that message"

You see, it is the collective that causes things to happen in a local assembly. Many people dissipate their energy, here and there, pour your energy into your local assembly praying for your pastors and see the desired changes in your own life. Don't forget, when daily pray for them, you are indirectly praying for yourself and others in the same clime.
