Proverbs 22:29 Observe people who are good at their work -  skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don't take a back seat to anyone.

I was recently in Lagos and saw someone I had known for about ten years, I couldn't recognise him again because he had aged. Wandering what could have happened to him, so I engaged him in conversation, it was then I realized what the problem was. He has not develop himself in the area of  his business, more young people have taken over from him.

Most people don't value development, they want money but detest training. God has given each and every one of us special abilities, but only those who sharpens their gifts are valued.

It is not just knowing what to do, but doing it well. The value of your skills is in your excellence. An excellent man will always exceed expectations. However, an excellent lifestyle is a function of knowledge with an understanding heart.

Proverbs 17:27 He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

While you are developing yourself, recognised this truth, it is the Holy Spirit that makes us wiser in all that we do.
