Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Your heart is much more important than all the wealth you can see in the world. The heart of man is the seat of true wealth, the quality of your heart is what determine what see and enjoy in the world. Therefore it is important to protect such place.

I love the way the message translation of the Bible put it "Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that's where life starts". If you don't guard, manage and protect your heart, it will eventually affect the outcome of your life. This heart here is the place of your subconsciousness, where the driving force of life is.

You must becareful with the kind of things you feed your mind with, you must protect the kind of information, conversation and company of people you keep. Prayer is good, but you must understand that people terminate their prayers because of the state of their heart.

How do you know the state of your heart? Check what you say after you have prayed and having conversations with men. I remember someone we prayed together about a job, we made strong declaration, as we stepped out of prayer, I head him talking to someone. He said, you know the is no job anywhere except you know someone...he, that's true. He really do not believe what he has prayed.
