John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Jesus came into this world as God's lamb for the redemption of mankind, Satan did not have insight into divine program of redemption though he was aware of it.

When John announced that Jesus was the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world, Satan decided to destroyed Him thinking he would forfeit God's redemption plan. Friends, Satan is clueless about the life of anyone who is a partaker of eternal life. 

1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

In Him was life and the life is the light of men, this light shines in darkness and darkness cannot lay hold of it. No matter how hard the enemy try in your life, one thing is sure, they don't know you and can't hold you down from becoming all that God has planned for your life. Instead of them having a upper hand over you, they will be helping you to succeeded on a greater and higher level of glory.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more.

Jesus calls you the light of the world, why? Because you have eternal life. Eternal life is the life through which we shine. You are more powerful than your enemies, go forward today win, shine and conquer in all areas of life.
