Isaiah 55:12  For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 

When you rejoice against all odds, God's power is released to turn situation around in your favour.  Stop focusing on your situations, start counting your blessings.  Let me tell you, name them one after the other.  You will see amongst the things that God has done in the past that will spur joy within your heart.  

The strategy of the enemy is to steal your joy and by that gain entry into your life.  Whatever you think the enemy is attacking currently, his mission really is to steal your joy. Once you are joyless, you will begin to loose your sense of identity. You'll behave irrationally, your decision are affected negatively.

Job 33:26  He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see His face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

The only way to see His face is through joy. Many people desire to see God, but the key is joy. This year make a habit of being joyful in any situation you may find yourself.

Psalms 132:16  I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

Jesus as our Priest has been clothed with salvation, we are the saint that should shout for joy. This we do by affirming what has been accomplished for us through Christ finished work.  We only sing of His Salvation in Zion, we don't sing of defeat.  Rejoice today, lift up your voice and your hand, shout for joy.
