Galatians 3:2 (MSG)  Let me put this question to you: How did your new life begin? Was it by working your heads off to please God? Or was it by responding to God's Message to you?

One of the truth you must know deep within you is that, in Christ, you are not supposed to be burdened. The moment you are under pressure to please God, then it's because you are turning away from  the Lord.  You need to get refocused, the first thing Jesus take from us at salvation is the burden and yoke of religion. 

Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)  "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

One of the ways stated by Christ Jesus for us to unburden is by coming to Him and learn. The picture painted here is where two ox are yoked together to walk and work together. Jesus showed us that, by being yoked with Him, we would be in perpetual relationship and we'll produce amazing results together. 

When it is by grace, effort is out. Your walk with God should be effortless if you are walking with the Lord in fellowship. The more you studied God's word, the more His grace is infused into you producing effortless Christlike life. Anytime you see that you are struggling to please the Lord in any area of your life, check your fellowship with Him both in study of the word and prayer.
