Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Joy is a serious business of heaven - Rev Mark Hankins. Those who are born again have all it takes to rejoice in the face of serious challenges of life and provocation. The joy of a believer is not tie to any happening on earth, it is rooted in the knowledge of redemption.

Only those who know their God can be strong, and the joy of the Lord is their strength. Your strength flow from the joy of the Lord, this means that the more I know Him the more joy well-up from within me. David said "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise will continually be on my lips". This implies that no matter the situation, he will rejoice.

Psalms 118:21 I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation. 22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. 23 This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Paul's letter to the Philippians was a command not a suggestion, it says "rejoice". It does not say when you feel like, you just have to do it, every other things will catch up such as your feelings, your body etc. Today, in the face of those challenges, rejoice, dance, sing, shout etc. Let the devil know that you are more than conqueror through Christ Jesus the Lord.
