THE SECRET OF SUCCESS - Pt Two
Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
The question today is, where is your delight? It says your delight should be in God's words if you are to prosper in all that you do. Meditation is the key to a robust spiritual experience that produce good success in this kingdom. This was the same thing God told Joshua for him to walk in victory.
Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
The second thing about this man was that, he has to be planted. The tree is not just by the riverside, the tree is planted. There are people are in church but are not planted. They go to church for social reasons, religious obligation. But you have to be planted, receiving God's word and obeying the same.
Planted trees produces fruit, the fruit of character begin to show and your life shines. Trees don't move upon and down, they are stable, their roots goes deeper and eventually bear fruit upward. This is the definition of a Christian life who is properly positioned in Christ through a local assembly.
2 Kings 19:30 And the remnant who have escaped of the house of Judah Shall again take root downward, And bear fruit upward.
