Joshua 1:5 All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I'll be with you. I won't give up on you; I won't leave you.

One of the greatest advantage a man can have in life is for the Most High God to be for and with you. No matter what, if God be for you, nothing will be able to stand up against you in life. No matter what, you will always be victorious in the face of any challenges. 

After Moses died, God had to encourage Joshua to pick up the mantle of leadership. He had seen great work that Moses did, he must have felt inadequate. He wasn't sure if he will be able to operate in the supernatural as Moses did, seeing the responsibility of leadership, fear must have sets in for him.

When God spoke to Him, "nobody will be able to stand up against you"... Waooo, " as I was with Moses so also will I be with you". That was exactly what he got from the Lord. Joshua conquered Nations, subdued kingdoms, sun and moon stood still for him. The major factor was that God was with him.

The final word here is, God told him, "I will never give up on you". That's a strong one, never give up? Ain't you happy? Same way, He won't give up on you. Go forward knowing that the Lord will be with you and will never leave you.
