Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Our LORD Jesus is not one of the founder of religion, He is God the beginning, the ending, the everlasting Father. Everything starts with Him and all things are consist in and through Him. If He is the beginning, then you must allow Him to take preeminence in all things in your life. God does not take left over, don't invite Him when you have issues, but ahead of challenges.

Often times, people try to get God's opinion after they have made their choices on matters of life. They think He is their rubber stamp, no, He want to have the first say on  your life. He is the Alpha, the First. Start with Him, not without Him. Give Him the first fruit of your lips in the morning, the first of your increase, the very best.

Some people promise God to serve Him when they are old, after they have spend their own strength over their personal desires. Some parents try to even use their own children to fulfill their unfinished life's business. When their children try to serve God early, they consider it a waste of time in their prime. But you must give Him the very first place in your life and your best.
