1 Corinthians 13:1If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing.

The very nature of God is love, every child of God have this nature in them. Most believers don't acknowledge this nature, you must believe, acknowledge and declare the same. Through eternal sacrifice of Christ, now you possess all of God's nature. This is the truth, your life is not different to that of Christ. Paul declared it this way:

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

This life within us is what enabled us to express God's love to others. Our understanding of God's love for us is the foundation of our empowerment to walk in love towards others. You cannot express this love beyond your knowledge and understanding of the same.

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 19 We love Him, because He first loved us.

This God's love has now been shared abroad in our heart by the Holy Spirit so that we can now express the same love to our dying world. Ephesians 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
