2 Corinthians 4:13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you.

The written word is the basis of our faith and experience. Every of our experience must be judge through the word of God, so that we can adequately understand what God is doing and what the enemy is trying to do against us. We must also speak according to the word and not our circumstances. 

While vast majority of people speaks based on their situations, we must speak according to what is written. When we begin to speak according to what is written, the assurance we have is this, the One who raised Jesus will also raise us out of any situations we may find ourselves. This is the power of the written word. 

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The only reason people will not speak according to the written word is because there is no light of God's revelation word in them. God's word is sharper than double edge's sword. The edge of the sword is the sharpest part, but God's word is far more sharper. From today, checkout for His promises and speak them forth.
