Romans 9:30 What shall we say then? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith; 31 but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness.

God's righteousness can never be attained through human efforts or religious sacrifices, it is imparted as a gift from God. The righteous nature of God became our heritage when we receive Christ sacrifice through the cross. This nature is actually sin overcoming life. 

Christ became the end to all the law for righteousness. The moment you receive Christ as your Lord and saviour, your sins are forgiven and God's nature is implanted into your being. Through this life and nature, you can appropriate the benefits of this kingdom and enjoy divine provisions. 

Romans 5:17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

By the gift of righteousness, you can reign in life. This is a possibility for every believer in Christ Jesus. Our opening scripture says that you didn't pursue what you have attained through the law. The word "attained"... is the word to lay-hold of something. So today, start declaring who you are without fear. If there is an areas of weakness or need, declare with confidence of faith... I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, I have my needs met, my body is healed, my strength is restored, I am not a slave of addictions etc.
