2 Peter 1:5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Faith does not work alone, there are ingredients that makes it work. If you want to see His divine power work in your life, give all diligence to add to your faith the listed above. I love you to pay attention to verse eight, it says if these things are yours and abound, you will not be barren or unfruitful. In reality, what is saying is that these things are already in you, stir it up.

Some people think that it's just faith alone, but we are admonish to pay attention to our walk also. Abraham demonstrated how this thing work when there was problem between him and Lot. He asked him to make a choice of space ahead of himself because he knew that faith alone does not get the job done. Faith required peace and love to work effectively.

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

Carefully look at the passion translation of the bible. It says "When you’re placed into the Anointed One and joined to him, circumcision and religious obligations can benefit you nothing. All that matters now is living in the faith that is activated and brought to perfection by love". Your love work is the real secret behind the workings of faith, add it to your faith.
