Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Abraham became the father of faith not by works but by believing. No man can be justified by his work and this simple truth render religion worthless. Justification by faith is God's gift of love to those who believes in Christ Jesus.

Until a man have faith in the redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ, he cannot have salvation, for this is only made possible through His crucifixion, death, burial, resurrection and ascension. No matter the number of time a man prays, without being made His righteousness through what Christ has done, it will all be fruitless effort.

Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

You can be ignorant of God's amazing grace, trying to be justified without recognizing what God has achieved in Christ as our propitiation for sin, all you have to do now is just to believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The peace you are looking for is in Christ Jesus between you and God. Christ has achieved for you the height of righteousness you are trying to attain. By your faith in Him, you also will become justified and you will have Eternal peace with God your Father. This is the foundation of faith and your receiving in God.
