Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

To hearken mean to listen to do or obey. God want us to hear and to do according to His instructions. Our safety and deliverance from any form of evil is connected to this simple truth. Many people do not want to do what He says, they want to have their way. To really enjoy God's goodness and His best, you must follow His word and obey.

John 2:5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it. ”

Alot of people don't know the cost of disobedience, it will cost you more than you could think. Imagine if they do not follow Jesus recipe, they would have experience shame. When we follow the word, we are being led of the Spirit, therefore we get the Word's result.

The opening scripture says, when we follow and walk in obedience, we would dwell safely and be far from the fear of evil. This means we  would experience peace in all areas of life. Following God's word and being obedient is an expression of righteousness and it brings peace and joy to our lives in all aspect: marital, financial, health, etc.

Isaiah 32:17 The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever. 18 My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

Learn to walk in obedience, it may be painful at the moment. The reality is that the result is always outstanding. Anywhere you are, stand out and let it be known to men that you are for the LORD. You can never regret standing for the LORD like the Hebrew boys.
