2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

God's word is fu of blessings, but you must be willing to follow all its instructions as revealed. It is whatever He tells you to do, do it. You cannot see the outcome of the word you are not willing to obey. If you are willing and obedient, you will enjoy the goodness of the Lord promised in His word. 

The truth is, you cannot choose what you like about the word of God discarding the others when it touch your disobedience. Some people only love it when it's the blessings and love, but hate instructions and correction. They want the profit of but detest it's corrections.

John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

When word says be careful for nothing, just do exactly what it says. When the word says, stand still, just obey. You see, the word has capacity to see what you cannot see. Be diligent to walk according to the instructions of the scripture, it bring you profit. Follow the word of God, it was here in the very beginning before you arrived. 

Today, make Him and His word your priority, keep your focus on His instructions and the corrections that comes from studying and listening to His word. Your greatness and fulfilment depends on this.
