I Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

In today's world, a lot people live as if this is the finality of all things. But we know that this world will pass away, God has set a time for this world to end. Jesus will be back and He shall judge all things known and unknown to men. You as a believer must know that you are not of this world, though you are living here now. It look like Jesus is delayed in coming or maybe He's not coming again. 

2 Peter 3:3 (TPT) Above all, you must understand that in the last days mockers will multiply, chasing after their evil desires. 4 They will say, “So what about this promise of his coming? Our ancestors are dead and buried, yet everything is still the same as it was since from the beginning of time until now.”

People will challenge us to prove how is He coming, in fact, some faith people will nearly doubt truly if He's still coming. But God's word holds answers to all our question. Whatever your pursuit, make sure your labour is for eternity and not for perishable things. Your time, money, energy etc must be used for the kingdom purposes. 

This world is not your final destination, treat it so and let your life be for your heavenly home. Tell others about Christ, pull men out of hell by all means possible in righteousness.
