Psalms 147:10 He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. 11 The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy.

The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory is of the LORD.  This means that you can have horses for battle, the best strategy, only God gives victory. You must depend of God for your victory in every aspect of your life. Even though it is important for you to prepare for anything you desire to do, learn to trust in Him for your desire outcome.

Read the passion translation of the above scripture: His people don’t find security in strong horses, for horsepower is nothing to Him. Man power is even less impressive! 11 The Lord shows favor to those who fear Him, to His godly lovers who wait for His tender embrace.

It is good to be intelligent, but sincerely, I have seen alot of intelligent people fail or become stagnated in life. It is easier for weak and less privileged people to trust in the LORD than those who have everything going on well for them. So no matter your state, trust in Him.  I have also seen poor and very proud people, only God is the maker of men.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
