Zephaniah 3:16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak. 17 The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

God's love for you is beyond what words can described. It is most difficult thing for humanity to believe and receive. How do you explain God's love towards sinners? It will never make any reasonable sense no matter how you think about it. David got to a point and asked: "what is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You are visiting him".

The is filled with God's love being demonstrated to humanity, either through His judgement or His mercies. All of God's actions are based on His love for mankind. It may be difficult when you are not looking at the whole picture, but God's love is unmatched by anyone visible or invisible. 

I John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

What kind of love will make Him speak on the cross that they be forgiven despite all their atrocities. The same people persecuting you are the ones you are praying for, it's unmatched. Love is the greatest, but this love cannot be explain by ordinary man, it is poured into heart through the Holy Spirit.
