The most powerful and important thing in famine is hearing the instructions from the LORD. Because in famine God has a better provision for those who are His children. When He guides you continually, He satisfies you and make you strong. He will also rescues you from your adversaries, sickness, disease and death.

The saving grace for Isaac was his ability to hear the voice and the word of Lord. Rather than being bothered about the famine, develop your hearing ability for receive instructions from His mouth. Your prosperity is connected to your hearing and obedience. When God gave Isaac the instruction, he has a choice of obedience and disobedience.

Job 22:22 Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart. 23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents. 24 Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks.

We don't pursue success in this Kingdom like the people of the world. God has kept things for us not from us, pursuing those things without Him will be effort in futility. Let Him lead and guide you, make Him your preoccupation and you will be shocked at the level of success, victory and peace you will enjoy this year.
