Genesis 15:5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” 6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

God was trying to expand Abraham's mind, He brought him out to see the impossible thereby, activated his imagination. Your imagination is one of the most power attributes that God gave to you to change your world. In fact, God is able to do beyond whatever you can capture through your imagination. 

Your imagination is the ability to see beyond present conditions. Seeing possibility is a function of your imagination. God does want to influence your imagination through His Spirit within you. Satan also want to corrupt the same, so beware. 

Ephesians 3:20 (TPT) Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.

You need your imagination if you will attain extraordinary feat in life. Your imagination must be powered and activated through the spirit within. This is made easy by meditating on God's word and praying in the spirit. For example, you will see how the wall of Jericho came crashing, then you will see how impossible are made possible.
