A SENSE OF MISSION - Pt One
John 9:4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
Many believers don't have a sense of mission, they think life is just about eating, sleeping and getting the best out of life. The reason some people want to be rich, get married etc is not about mission being comfortable in life. While there is nothing wrong in having these things, we must understand that God is more concerned about our mission than our personal achievements.
If you say that you have a mission, you mean that you have a strong commitment and sense of duty to do or achieve something. Jesus in His earthly operation had a higher sense of mission, this is what informed His decisions at every point in time. As a church, God's agenda is our priority, we are driven by this. We are Purpose Driven Church.
John 4:34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!
When you have a sense of mission, your priority in life will change. It affects your appetite, your choices and decisions. Jesus was initially hungry, but when He saw that it's time for mission, He let go of natural desire to be able to accomplish the purpose of His coming. As a leader, worker, member of PDC Global and The Vantage Hub, recognize this, that there is a mission God has called us to fulfilled.

The Bloodline of a Victor
1 John 5:4-5 NKJV For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. [5] Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
