Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

The testimony of Jesus is that while in the days of His earthly walk, He fulfilled the written testimony about His walk and work of righteousness. The result was the oil of gladness being poured on Him. You also must love righteousness and hate lawlessness. 

Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.

You have been made the righteousness of God through the finished work of Christ Jesus. This position is unchanging with God, but it is expected of you also, to live a life that is pleasing unto God. You must now exhibit this life of righteousness for the world to see that you are a child of God.

2 Corinthians 3:2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men. 

When by the Spirit of God, you begin to exercise yourself unto righteousness, you will practically enjoy what Apostle Peter call, joy unspeakable full of glory. But living in sin will dampened this joy. If your joy has been affected by sin, ask God for forgiveness and exercise yourself unto righteousness from now on.
