Numbers 14:28 Tell them, As I live, says the Lord, what you have said in My hearing I will do to you. 

There is so much power in God's word, unfortunately, many don't understand the extent of it. I have preached over a decade on this subject of using God's word on a face value. For example, you don't need any special interpretation to speak God's promises as contained in His word written for our sake. 

You see, it is true that there is rhema, logos and all this are true. One is the revealed or spokenn word of God, the other being the written word of God. Which even one, the two are powerful. Hebrews tells us the word (logos) is powerful and it is sharper than any double edge sword. While many are waiting for rhema, you can start speaking God's word getting your own desire results from the same. 

The word of God was written so that you can speak it. If you will open your mouth wide in God's word, it will amaze you the outcome of the same in your life. The word will deliver you from sin, will break the hold of poverty etc. David said, "I have hidden Your word in my heart, so that I won't sin against You". You can start declaring, " For your sake, He (Jesus) became poor for me to be made rich". "I am blood bought and blood washed" "I am delivered from darkness and brought into His marvelous light".

Hebrews 13:5 "...For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
